Dr. Stephanie Pagels

Dr. Stephanie is aboard-certified pediatric dentist who grew up in Reno, Nevada. She first got into dentistry during college when she volunteered for a mobile dental van that went around the city teaching children about oral hygiene. While at USC for dental school, Dr. Stephanie became heavily involved with dental outreach programs, caring for and treating underserved populations in Los Angeles and central California and even traveling to Colombia and Honduras to provide dental care to children in remote communities.

During her time at USC, Dr. Stephanie served as the president of the Dental Humanitarian Club and director of the USC Mobile Clinic. While working with the USC Mobile Clinic, Dr. Stephanie had the honor of providing dental care to children of underserved communities in many Southern California areas. This experience solidified her passion for giving back, and helped her realize that she wanted to work towards being able to provide treatment to the families who need care the most. By providing this care, she hopes to set a benchmark in quality and service for her patients and their families.

As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Stephanie is a skilled expert with an extensive educational background. She attended the University of Reno, NV for her undergraduate degree where she received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a chemistry minor. She then went on to the University of Southern California for Dental School. After graduating, Dr. Stephanie completed a one-year hospital-based Advanced Education in General Dentistry program (AEGD) in Phoenix. Finally, Dr. Stephanie rounded out her educational career by completing a pediatric residency in Tucson with NYU Langone and attaining her board certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD).

As a mom of two children herself, Dr. Stephanie loves spending time with her family. When she’s not working, she can be found either driving up north to enjoy the snow or traveling south to soak up the sun on the beach.

Receiving care from a new dentist or doctor can feel overwhelming. It is our goal to keep you informed, calm, and confident every step of the way.

When you meet Dr. Stephanie for the first time, she will be focused on getting to know you and your child’s needs before proceeding with care. She will partner with the hospital staff to coordinate seamless care specifically catered to your child’s needs and medical history. If sedation is needed, she will walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
